Nancy Rourke, a renowned Deaf artist, visited the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for a guest lecture and painting workshop. I had the opportunity to design the infographic and flyer for the events.

Problem
Many students were unfamiliar with the guest artist and her work, making it challenging to generate excitement and awareness for Nancy Rourke’s lecture and workshop. Additionally, the event materials needed to stand out from typical campus flyers to effectively attract attention.
Solution
I designed the flyer using a muted color palette that allowed Nancy Rourke’s artwork to be the focal point. This approach ensured the artist’s unique style stood out, while the overall design maintained a sophisticated and inviting look to spark curiosity about the events.
